Running a small business means wearing a lot of hats, and bookkeeping is often the one that gets pushed to the bottom of the list. This session gives you dedicated time with Bec, a Chartered Accountant, Xero Partner Advisory Council member, and founder of Straight Up Bookkeeping, to build your understanding of the basics and set up good habits from the start.
She stays across the newest Xero features and how to use AI tools alongside them, so you'll get advice that's current and practical, not outdated.
Whether you're just starting out, feeling overwhelmed by Xero, or want to understand your numbers better, this session is designed to give you clarity and confidence.

120-MINUTE SESSION
$420 + GST
Good for getting set up from scratch, or working through several areas of your books in one go.
Includes:
2-hour 1:1 session (video or phone)
Preparation time, so Bec comes ready with relevant guidance for your specific business
Follow-up email summary after the session
This is for small business owners who want to understand their own books, not necessarily outsource them. If you'd rather hand it all over, take a look at our bookkeeping packages instead.

If you've got one or two specific questions, or want to understand one part of Xero properly, go for 1 hour. If you're setting up from scratch, feeling behind, or want to cover a few different areas, 2 hours gives us room to do it properly. If you're not sure, book the hour and we can always do another.

No. If you're not set up yet, we'll start there. If you are, have it open when we meet so we can work in your actual file.

Life happens, I get it. If you can give me at least 48 hours' notice, use the link in your confirmation email to move or cancel and I'll refund you in full or hold it as credit for another time. Inside 48 hours I've usually already done the prep for you, so the fee is generally non-refundable. That said, if something comes up that's genuinely out of your control, please just reply to your confirmation email and tell me.

Sessions are $210 + GST for 1 hour and $420 + GST for 2 hours, so $231 and $462 in total. You'll see the full amount when you book. Tax invoices are available on request.
